Born in Roaring Spring, PA, a rural enclave and dairy farming community in west-central PA, nestled in the Appalachian mountains.

My parents were married for one month shy of 60 years before my father passed. My mom lived another 14 years, mostly on her own, before passing 1 day shy of her 92nd birthday. My only sibling, Tammy, is 8 years older than me and lives in the same town we grew up in.

I was met in the Medical School cafeteria at the University of Pennsylvania by a second-year medical student. l studied the Bible with disciple students in the medical school and law school before being baptized on June 13, 1994.

I have been married to my incredible wife Dawn for nearly 28 years. We are incredibly proud of our three adult children; Hunter (25), Grant (23), Skylar (21). We reside in Highlands Ranch, CO, a suburban community south of Denver.
