Personal Life

  • I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado where I played football, baseball, and wrestled.
  • I am the youngest of four sons to Joe and Sue Marutzky who were members of the Church of Christ.
  • I became a disciple of Jesus Christ as a sophomore in college in Boulder after looking the church up in the phone book.
  • I live in the Los Angeles area and I have been married for 43 years to Cathy, also a licensed counselor and we have two daughters (Mandy, Megan) and five grandchildren (Sienna, Makenna, dean, Kinsey, Maddie).
