Personal Life

• I was born in Fruita, Colorado and grew up in Loma, Colorado and the Western Slope of
Colorado as a shepherd on my Father’s Sheep Ranch.
• My parents were Victor and Eileen Giles, and I am the oldest of 4 siblings.
• I began my journey to faith around 1969 after hearing Billy Graham speak on TV. I had
no religious background and searched for God through his word and going to several
Bible based schools and finally was baptized into Christ on April 28, 1988, in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.
• I live both in Westminster, CO and Grand Junction, CO helping out the Denver Church of Christ, in Denver, CO and the Grand Valley Church, in Grand Junction, CO. I have been married to Linda Giles for 52 years, have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
