Personal Life

  • I was born in Florida, though eight years later the family moved to New Jersey, where I lived until going off to college
  • Our family consisted of my father (actuary), mother (journalist), brother (now a retired engineer),and sister (deceased at age 20)
  • I was looking for God when I enrolled at Duke University (North Carolina), and was invited to a group Bible study 24 hours later. I became a Christian in the middle of my first semester there.
